Oct 15 - Florida Department of Environmental Protection Calls for Bag Ban

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has called for a ban on all single-use carryout bags in the state by 2015. The report calls for a $0.05 fee on all carryout bags to begin 2011, which would increase by $0.05 every year, culminating in a $0.25 per bag fee in 2014.
