Jan 8 - Wal-Mart Stops Handing Out Free Bags in Three California Stores
Wal-Mart has stopped handing out free plastic bags at their Folsom, Citrus Heights and Ukiah locations. Instead, shoppers can bring their own reusable bags or purchase reusable bags for 15 cents each.
Wal-Mart may expand the program to more stores in the future.
