Oct 6 - US Cities Increasingly Targeting Plastic Bags
Cities in California and across the United States are increasingly targeting plastic bags for phase-out or fees. Plastic bags are a major source of costly plastic litter pollution. Santa Clara County, San Jose, Berkeley, Santa Cruz County, the City of Santa Cruz, Santa Monica and Los Angeles County are all moving forward with plastic bag bans.
