Feb 23 - Legislative Hearing on E-waste Set For Monday 2/28

The Assembly Environmental Safety & Toxics Material Committee will be hosting an oversight hearing on the management of electronic waste in California on Feb 28 (link), 9:30-12 at the State Capitol, Room 447.

Some topics that will be addressed at this meeting include a brief summary of the current E-waste recycling and regulatory programs, environmental and public health issues with current E-waste management, export of e-waste, and market conditions and international markets.
