Aug 12 - Statewide Polystyrene Foam Bill in Hearing Next Week
Summer recess ends this week for the state legislature and session resumes this coming Monday. The next steps for SB 568, the statewide bill to phase-out expanded polystyrene (eps) containers, will be determined in an Assembly Appropriations committee hearing on Wednesday, August 17. If the bill passes out of the fiscal committee, it moves on to the Assembly floor for a vote.
