Apr 8 - KQED Forum Talks Waste

CAW Executive Director Mark Murray joined the panel for KQED public radio’s Forum with Dave Iverson on Friday, April 5 for a discussion entitled "How to Get to Zero Waste."

Murray, along with Jared Blumenfeld, regional administrator for USEPA, Pacific Southwest Region, Jay Ramos, Monterey County MRF manager and Paul Toulmin, KQED listener services, also answered listener questions. The discussion centered on packaging, recycling, composting and ways to reach Zero Waste goals.

Blumenfeld praised CAW’s work on increasing waste diversion rates in the state.
