Soko Made has been a long-time employee at the San Francisco Environment Department. She currently serves as the Zero Waste Program Manager, leading efforts in the city government sector to develop as well as increase awareness and compliance of environmental ordinances and initiatives. She is also a co-Racial Equity Leader, coordinating efforts to normalize, organize, and operationalize racial equity within the department.

Soko has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Saint Louis University and a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco
