Mar 20 - Hearing Set for AB 2147: Plastic Package Labeling

CAW sponsored AB 2147 (Harman) has been scheduled to be heard in the Assembly Natural Resources Committee on Monday, March 27 at 1:30 pm. This measure will prohibit labeling plastic food or beverage containers as "biodegradable," "compostable," "degradable," or as otherwise specified, unless the container meets a current ASTM standard specification for the term used on the label.
