Aug 25 - Bottle Bill Funding & Reform Measure Needs Your Support

This is it! After months of negotiations, the Assembly Natural Resources Committee this morning unveiled a comprehensive and thoughtful bottle bill reform package that will provide consumers, recyclers, processors and end-users with tens of millions in new, direct financial incentives to increase collection and recycling of used beverage containers.

But we need your help to move AB 3056 out of the legislature and on to the Governor's Desk during the final week of the legislative session:

1) Fax an Organizational support letter to your legislative representatives and CAW.

2) Send this Action Alert Link to every recycling program coordinator and every potential supporter you know.

3) Send a personal letter of support to your State Senator.

Assembly Bill 3056 is the single most important and beneficial recycling measure that the legislature can enact this year.
