Sept 15 - Coastal Clean Up Day is Saturday!
The 22nd Annual California Coastal Clean Up Day is tomorrow, Saturday, September 16th. PARTICIPATE by finding a local clean up place near you. Clean ups are happening all throughout state along creeks, rivers, bays and oceans.
Nearly 80% of marine debris, like plastic bags, originate from storm drains in urban runoff. For animals and marine life, the pollution is a threat to their lives.
What You Can Do:

- Show support for CAW sponsored AB 2449 (Levine), which would lessen the impact of plastic bags in our environment through a takeback of bags in grocery stores, by sending a letter to the Governor.
