Mar 2 - Keep California Beautiful Appoints New Executive Director

Keep California Beautiful has announced Christin Flowers-Ewing has been appointed its new Executive Director. In a press release, Keep California Beautiful said Ms. Flowers-Ewing has over 21 years of experience in environmental education and outreach and has acted as a professor and staff scientist at the California Integrated Waste Management Board.

“Given the changing landscape in terms of litter prevention and its impact on California’s environment, Ms. Flowers-Ewing envisions Keep California Beautiful positioning itself as a leader assisting communities throughout the state to decrease litter and promote recycling and beautification by providing the resources and training in community outreach and education.”

Keep California Beautiful is a nonprofit organization chartered by the State in 1990 and is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.
