Sept 25 - Upcoming CIWMB Organics Summit
On October 10th, the CIWMB will be holding an all-day organics summit. This event should prove to be a good forum to discuss many of the problems that California’s composters face, including permitting hurdles, lack of feedstock, ADC-policy, and market development. The event will consist of a panel of composters, breakout sessions, and staff presentations, and the Board has committed to turning the results of this summit into specific recommendations for regulatory and legislative policy objectives for the Board to pursue.
