May 27 - Recycling Champion Elected LA City Councilmember

Former Assembly Member Paul Koretz has been elected to represent the fifth council district of the City of Los Angeles. Paul Koretz was a recycling champion in the legislature and authored bills on battery disposal, marine debris and other issues. He was CAW's legislator of the year for 2006.
