May 28 - Recycling Bills Pass Out of Fiscal Committee

Several CAW-supported recycling bills passed out of the Assembly Appropriations committee today and now head to the floor:

AB 478 (Chesbro) Waste and GHG
AB 479 (Chesbro) Diversion
AB 1173 (Huffman) CFLs
AB 1343 (Huffman) Paint

AB 283 (Chesbro) EPR was held by the committee. The two carryout bag fee bills, AB 68 (Brownley) and AB 87 (Davis), were converted into two-year bills, delaying action until 2010.
