Jun 10 - Senate Committee to Discuss Reorganization of Recycling Agencies

The Senate Environmental Quality Committee is set to meet today to discuss any potential reorganization of state agencies that deal with waste management, recycling, and toxics. One of the proposals being discussed involves creating a new Pollution Prevention and Recycling Board that would oversee many of the duties previously performed by the Integrated Waste Management Board, the Department of Toxic Substances Control, and the Department of Conservation.
