Oct 13 - 41 Percent of People Surveyed in New Online Poll Recycle Their E-Waste

41 percent of those surveyed in a new Harris Interactive online poll reported that they donated an electronic device for recycling. Over 60 percent of people surveyed stated that they always recycle, and reuse things they have instead of replacing them. The poll also showed that 40 percent of people switched to paperless financial statements.

The poll asked questions about a number of environmental issues to see how Americans are taking steps to protect the environment. It was conducted between July 7 and September 8, and reported answers from 3,110 adults who participated online throughout the United States.
