Sep 28 - Paint Recovery Bill Signed

AB 1343 by Assembly Member Huffman was signed into law today.

AB 1343 is an extended producer responsibility bill that requires paint manufacturers to develop and implement a program to collect, transport, and process postconsumer paint to reduce the financial costs and environmental impacts of the disposal of postconsumer paint in this state.

We now anxiously await the fate of other bills, AB 2398, AB 737, and SB 1454.
