Is your life too plastic?

That's the question posed in the award-winning documentary "Bag It", which started a plastic bag ban movement in the Colorado area and has been spreading nationwide ever since.

Tomorrow, several local environmental groups in the El Dorado County area, just east of Sacramento, will be hosting a screening of the documentary from 7 to 9 pm at the Cameron Park Library (2500 Country Club Drive, Cameron Park, CA).

Wednesday, July 18, a second showing will be hosted from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Cosmic Cafe in Placerville (594 Main Street, Placerville, CA).

If you haven't seen the film yet, this is a great opportunity to learn about the impacts of plastic and plastic pollution in our lives.
