Santa Cruz County Supermarket Reycling Locations


Thank's to California's Bottle and Can Recycling Law, Recycling for Cash is now as close and Convenient as your local Supermarket. The following Supermarket locations in Santa Cruz County will now gladly accept and pay CASH for Glass, Plastic and Aluminum Beverage Containers!

Recyclables are accepted during all hours that stores are open for business. And unless otherwise stated on a sign posted at the store entrance, empty beverage containers can be redeemed for cash at any open cash register.

The stores listed above are required by state law to take back all empty beverage containers and pay the proper redemption value of 5 cents per container and 10 cents for containers 24 ounces and larger.
