Commercial waste accounts for 47% of California’s overall waste stream. Cardboard and paper make up the single largest component of commercial waste, making up over 26% of the stream. Knowing what we know about the recyclability of these materials, and their contribution to global warming when disposed, should commercial enterpises be required to do their part?
