Nick Lapis


Nick Lapis is a Policy Associate with CAW. He works on greenhouse gas policies, as well as waste reduction and recycling issues with the California Integrated Waste Management Board. He also does research and advocacy on legislative action and regulatory policy.

Before joining CAW, Nick completed his BS in Environmental Biology and Management (with a double minor in Environmental Policy and Political Science) at the University of California, Davis. As an undergraduate, he did legislative internships with Coalition for Clean Air and California State Parks. He has also worked on habitat restoration and environmental leadership through several internships at the Golden Gate National Parks.

When he is not at CAW, Nick can usually be found enjoying good food, good films, or good company.
